when I arrived in Malaysia, stepping into a big city to begin my first job abroad.But soon,

I realized that everything was not as I had imagined. I knew so little about the country and how to live here. I felt lost, overwhelmed, and struggled to figure out how to settle into this new environment.

In those moments of confusion, I thought about how much easier life would be if there was someone or something—like a guide or navigation system—to help me find my way and make settling in less daunting.

And that’s how this blog was born!
